Gallery MOMO is a premier contemporary art
gallery that was launched in 2003. The gallery
represents a prominent selection of local and
international artists who work across disciplines.
Our exhibition programme strives to reflect a
dynamic yet balanced approach to presenting the
wide range of ideas and media being explored by
established artists at advanced stages of practice
and emerging artists who have demonstrated
strong promise and exceptional commitment.
An important goal for the gallery is to expand
the local art market and develop new audiences
through consultancy and curatorship. In addition,
it is the only gallery in South Africa that has a
residency programme for local and international
curators and artists.
